Observer Q9

One of the Observers beliefs is that they are left of the political spectrum. This interferes with their writing on political issues such as Brexit even though they pride themselves on being neutral. Brexit has dominated the news these past two years, on this tweet it is the main focus. To show the importance Brexit has been given the largest text on the cover. The readers will most likely side with the Observers political point of view making it more enjoyable to read.

The front cover is very ethnically diverse presenting a black man and a Muslim sharing their accomplishments. An example of this is Nadiya Hussain who won the Great British Bakeoff. It also shows two females at the top of the tweet. This shows the impact of women/feminism and going against the 'patriarchy'. Despite the image portraying Nadiya as a cook which is stereotypical, the other woman is portrayed doing sporting activities alongside Mo Farah displaying they are on a level playing field.

This front cover is available on twitter. This shows how much of an important mean it is to reach out to audience. Twitter makes it easy to share (retweet), like and comment on the post. This will allow a larger audience and larger interaction.
